Firehouse Subs Alaska is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to own shifts, coach team members, and ensure smooth restaurant operation. You will balance fast-paced service with safety and quality, lead by example on the floor, and resolve guest concerns while maintaining standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management skills are essential for leading shifts.
• Ability to coach and develop Team Members.
• Strong focus on reliability and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a restaurant setting preferred but strong leadership potential accepted.
• Commitment to following policies, safety requirements, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Running shifts and keeping the team organized and productive
• Working alongside the team and setting the pace
• Providing great customer service and handling guest concerns
• Maintaining standards for speed, accuracy, food quality, and cleanliness
• Training and coaching Team Members
• Addressing problems as they happen instead of leaving them for the next shift
• Making good decisions with labor based on sales and business needs
• Following portioning standards and helping control food and operating costs
• Completing opening, closing, cash handling, and other shift responsibilities accurately
• Following and enforcing Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
• Supporting Public Safety Foundation initiatives
• Communicating important issues to the General Manager
• Helping build a restaurant that the team and our guests want to come back to
