Job summary

Shake Shack in Virginia Beach is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead a fast-paced team and ensure top service, safety, and cleanliness. You’ll coach hourly team members, monitor operations, and support inventory and purchasing tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of restaurant leadership, food safety certification, and strong communication skills. This is an on-site, full-time role with competitive hourly pay and benefits for a positive, fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant leadership supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification per local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
