Job summary

Carl's Jr. is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee restaurant operations during a shift, create schedules, supervise staff, and assign duties to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with restaurant experience, capable of maintaining high standards of food safety, service quality, and teamwork under pressure. You will monitor performance, report sales and productivity to upper management, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous food service experience required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed
• Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
• Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
• Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary
• Cover the shifts of absent employees
