Job summary

Busy Boys is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations on assigned shifts, ensuring guest service, food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and team performance.

You will coach and develop crew members, enforce standards, manage labor, cash handling, and supervise front counter, drive-thru, kitchen, dining room, and shake station to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Restaurant leadership experience required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure friendly, fast, and professional service to every guest.
• Maintain Busy Boys standards for food quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and hospitality.
• Coach, train, and motivate Crew Members throughout each shift.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Monitor labor deployment and adjust staffing based on business volume.
• Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
• Oversee front counter, drive-thru, kitchen, dining room, and shake station operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to approved recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Verify food safety procedures, holding times, temperatures, and sanitation standards.
• Conduct shift line checks and restaurant inspections.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while creating positive guest recovery experiences.
• Monitor ticket times and drive-thru performance to meet speed goals.
• Complete opening, shift change, and closing manager checklists.
• Count cash drawers and assist with deposits when assigned.
• Complete daily paperwork, shift reports, and communication logs.
• Maintain inventory levels and notify management of shortages.
• Ensure equipment is operating and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant at all times.
• Enforce policies, safety standards, and uniforms.
• Lead by example through professionalism and accountability.
