Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group, the largest Marco's Pizza franchise owner in the United States, seeks a shift leader to guide people and ensure outstanding product quality and customer service. You will lead the team, manage duties per shift, and help control costs while maintaining a top-notch guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a restaurant team and delivering guest service.
• Ability to train staff on processes and policies.
• Minimum age 18 and legal eligibility to work.

Responsibilities

• Open and close shifts without supervision.

As the shift leader, you will lead people, ensure we execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.

Sales and Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage and organize all positions each shift and delegates duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.

Leadership

• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Deliver great guest service every time and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Responsible for accurate daily deposits and cash handling procedures.
