Job summary

Shake Shack in McLean, VA is seeking a restaurant leader to manage the flow of service on a shift, directing the work of team members to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality and speed. You will help build and lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members in a fast-paced environment.

The role may include operational support tasks (Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory) and participation in interviews. We seek strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to the

Qualifications

At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
Strong problem solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
