Shake Shack in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking an enthusiastic restaurant leader to oversee shifts, coach team members, and uphold safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed of service.

You will help build and mentor a high-performing team of hourly staff, participate in interviews, and support purchasing, receiving, and inventory as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with at least 1 year of leadership experience in hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
