Job summary

Angry Chickz in Olathe, Kansas, is seeking a Shift Lead to guide daily operations, mentor the team, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll oversee staffing per schedule, conduct shift walk-throughs, and handle opening, transition, and closing duties to keep service running smoothly.

You may assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, monitor safety and health standards, address customer concerns professionally, and train new team members.

• Experience in a leadership role in food/service industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitors Team deployment as schedule dictates.
• Conducts shift walk-through and completes all tasks required to open, transition, and close the restaurant
• Engages with all guests to ensure our service and enjoyment standards are delivered.
• Perform some food preparation or service tasks when necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the restaurant
• Completes shift administration and banking tasks
• Monitor food preparation methods, recipes, and portion sizes.
• Monitor compliance with all health department regulations regarding restaurant cleanliness, food preparation and temperature control.
• Ensures team members follow break and meal period schedules as mandated
• Address and resolve customer concerns or feedback in a professional and constructive manner.
• Train and guide new team members, setting the standard for what's expected.
