Job summary

Shake Shack in Columbus, OH is hiring a Shift Supervisor to manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members, ensuring the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality and speed on a shift.

You will help build and lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members and may assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving and inventory. We offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
