Job summary

StaffedUp is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to help run high-energy shifts in a busy restaurant and bar. This hands-on role supports both service and operations, leading by example to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include bar and food-service support, service-bar duties, tech-setup for entertainment, POS oversight, and thorough opening/closing checklists. Strong communication and multitasking are essential; ability to lift 40 lbs and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using POS and audio/visual systems.
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communicator and team player with a guest-first mentality.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Bar Support: Stock and restock the bar before, during, and after service.
• Food Service Support: Run food to tables and assist servers.
• Service Bar: Assist behind the service bar when needed.
• Technology Management: Operate the TV and entertainment system.
• POS Oversight: Handle discounts, voids, and comps when no manager is present.
• Checklists and Handoffs: Manage opening/closing checklists and shift changes.
• Leadership Presence: Lead by example to keep operations smooth.
• Communicate clearly with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
