Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking staff for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort to support outlet operations and deliver outstanding guest service. You will help maintain a clean dining environment, assist servers, and ensure timely table resets on a vibrant boardwalk property.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate table settings, and safe handling of service ware. Training, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities within HEI are offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart up to 150 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment and reset tables promptly.
• Stock stations and ensure all service ware and condiments are available.
• Serve beverages, bread, and butter; replenish as needed for guests.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to outlet operations.
