Job summary

Willow Valley Communities in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Server for Home Plate BBQ located within the Memory Center. You will provide prompt, friendly service to Residents, families, guests and Team Members, take orders, and deliver meals in a warm, welcoming environment.

Starting between December 2026 and January 2027, the role includes weekend and holiday shifts, with weekly pay and benefits designed to support your growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred.
• Positive, friendly attitude and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests.
• Greet guests, escort to tables, and present menus.
• Take orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Memorize menu items and make recommendations.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Clear and reset tables during service.
• Assist with banquet and special events as needed.
• Complete side work, cleaning, stocking, and follow food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Team Members to ensure outstanding dining experiences.
• Assist in kitchen or dish room operations when needed.

Position Details

• Part-Time
  • 3:30 PM-9:00 PM (closing time varies based on business needs)
• Schedule could vary and may include:
  • Weekends
  • Holidays
• Pay: $8.00/hour+ based on experience, plus tips

What You'll Do

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into our POS system
• Memorize menu items and ingredients and make recommendations
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Clear and reset tables throughout service
• Assist with banquet and special event service as needed
• Complete side work, cleaning assignments, and stocking dutiesFollow food safety, sanitation, and safe handling procedures
• Collaborate with fellow Team Members to ensure an outstanding dining experience
• Assist in kitchen or dish room operations when needed
