Job summary

The Casino at Dania Beach is seeking a server to take orders and deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely, friendly and professional manner. You will describe menu items, manage payments, and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of server experience, knowledge of table settings, and basic computer skills. This role requires standing for long hours, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and availability on nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2+ years of server experience preferred.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Professional and dependable.
• Fine dining serving experience is a plus.
• Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Describes all menu items, prices and methods of preparation
• Ensures station and table setups are complete prior to service and at the end of the shift
• Maintains area with all supplies

• Communicates and works closely with kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assists guests as necessary
• All other duties as needed

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Will be required to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
