Job summary

Loews Coral Gables Hotel is hiring a Restaurant Server to deliver outstanding table service and guest experiences in our AAA Four-Diamond property. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure food and beverages meet quality standards while maintaining a warm, the restaurant atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand and lift as needed. This on-site role offers growth within a renowned hotel company and team-oriented service

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
