Job summary

Loews Coral Gables Hotel is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a busy venue near Miracle Mile. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure seamless service throughout the visit.

This role rewards hospitality, teamwork, and menu knowledge with opportunities for growth, flexible schedules, and employee meals. Prior hospitality experience preferred; training provided to learn Loews standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and elevate when needed.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
