Job summary

Shrimp Basket in Gulf Shores, AL is hiring servers to sell and serve Shrimp Basket food and drinks in a friendly, efficient manner. You will take orders, deliver meals and beverages, ring orders into the POS, and ensure guest satisfaction.

This role requires knowledge of alcohol service, ability to pass ServSafe and Responsible Vendor training, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be of legal age and capable of multi-tasking during varied hours including holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take orders and ring them into POS
• Able to handle cash transactions and make change
• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Strong English communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of alcohol service rules and responsible vendor requirements

Responsibilities

• Sell and serve Shrimp Basket food and drinks
• Take orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food
• Prepare orders and handle payments, including tips
• Use POS to ring orders and manage tables
• Maintain cleanliness and side-work, including setup and breakdown
• Provide friendly, efficient service to 3–5 tables as assigned
• Ensure guests are of legal age and refuse service to minors or intoxicated customers
• Assist management in meeting company policies and procedures
