Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners in Gulf Shores, AL, is seeking a Restaurant Server to ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing prompt and courteous food and beverage service. You will set tables, memorize menu items, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout service areas in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining a professional appearance, delivering excellent guest service, and communicating effectively with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Vision ability to clearly see guest checks, notes, and operate in a restaurant setting.
• Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance trays.
• Ability to communicate information and hotel services to guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service to restaurant guests.
• Set and b reset tables; maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout service areas.
• Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials; make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen service areas.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings; support team effectively.
• Respond to guest inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information.
