Job summary

Coastal Orange Beach is seeking a Server to coordinate serving stations and communicate with front and back‑of‑the‑house staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will handle tickets, assist guests with QR orders and payments, and support bar service during peak hours.

(must be 21+ to serve) The role requires strong guest service, menu knowledge, and the ability to upsell while maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate clearly with coworkers, management, and guests.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
• Capable of working in extreme hot or cold environments.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to stand and move quickly for up to 8 hours.
• Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
• Must manipulate register system and serve food.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company policies and duties for the server role.
• Maintains a positive attendance record.
• Follows sanitation and safety standards and completes required certification.
• Meets uniform, appearance, and grooming standards.
• Maintains outstanding guest service standards.
• Knows all menu items, explains specials, and answers questions about preparation, ingredients, portions, and substitutions.
• Checks IDs for alcohol orders.
• Performs menu merchandising, upsells when appropriate.
• Picks up orders and completes plate preparation per procedures.
• Performs side work duties and end-of-shift checkout procedures.
• Follows alcohol serving procedures and government regulations.
• Maintains a good team environment by assisting others.
• Follows tip reporting procedures.
