Essential Job Functions

- Greet guests courteously, explain specials and promotions.
- Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
- Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
- Input orders into POS system and communicate with the kitchen.
- Retrieve and deliver orders, confirm accuracy, and serve with condiments.
- Follow liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
- Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
- Serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
- Assist bus staff with clearing and resetting tables.
- Perform side work such as replenishing condiments and restocking.
- Maintain cleanliness using proper hotel cleaning products.
- Present bills promptly.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures.
- Know fire prevention and emergency protocols.
- Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Maintain a neat appearance as per standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and assist other staff as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of liquor regulations and hold relevant certifications (Food Handler Card, TABC license).
- Basic understanding of food/beverage preparations, service standards, and guest relations.
- Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to follow product instructions and promote menu items.
- Operate beverage equipment like coffee makers.
Physical Demands
- Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently in a crowded environment.
- Lift up to 30 lbs.
- Stand and walk constantly; perform twisting, bending, reaching, and smiling.
