Position Summary

The Restaurant Server will provide exceptional hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment at our beautiful restaurant located on the top floor.

This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00-$15.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
• Provide quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to banquet guests and communicate clearly with all customers.
• Serve food at proper temperatures and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
• Ensure neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over.
• Pre-bus tables and bus tables during peak periods.
• Maintain availability to work during many peak periods.
• Stock beverage stations as needed (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.).
• Respond promptly to customer desires and requests.
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance.
• Communicate effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to enhance the dining experience.
• Build and maintain knowledge of bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related Food Service Job Experience required.
• Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills with employees, management, and guests in a respectful and professional manner.
