Essential Job Functions

- Greet guests warmly and explain specials or promotions.
- Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
- Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
- Input orders into the POS system and communicate with the kitchen.
- Retrieve and deliver orders, confirming accuracy and providing condiments.
- Comply with liquor laws regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
- Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
- Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables.
- Perform side work, including restocking condiments.
- Maintain cleanliness using standard hotel cleaning products.
- Present checks promptly.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures.
- Know fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Maintain a neat appearance as per the team member handbook.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and assist other restaurant staff as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of liquor regulations and holding necessary certifications (Food Handler Card, TABC license).
- Basic understanding of food and beverage service, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to understand product labeling and promote menu items.
- Operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.
Physical Demands
- Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently in a crowded environment.
- Lift up to 30 pounds maximum.
- Constant standing and walking, with frequent bending, reaching, and other movements.
