Job summary

El Chorro in Paradise Valley seeks a polished hospitality professional to deliver memorable, wine-and-dine experiences in a fast-paced fine-dining setting. You’ll greet guests, present menu specials, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and ensure every guest leaves feeling our service is effortless.

Qualified candidates bring at least two years of high-volume fine-dining experience, a current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card, and Arizona alcohol certification.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card.
  • Current Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification.
  • At least two years of high-volume fine-dining experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, serviceware, and menu items.
  • Ability to learn, remember, describe, and promote a variety of menu offerings.
  • Experience with beverage equipment and point-of-sale systems, including Toast.
  • Clear verbal and written English communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a clean, stocked service station before, during, and after each shift.
  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Present menu specials and recommendations with confidence.
  • Take accurate food & beverage orders in Toast.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely, beautiful delivery.
  • Serve with refined service standards and attention to detail.
  • Check back, refresh beverages, and offer dessert and after-dinner options.
  • Present checks promptly and process payments accurately.
  • Adhere to Arizona/state liquor regulations.
  • Support leadership and team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

Your Day Will Include
  • Preparing and maintaining a clean, fully stocked, and properly set service station before, during, and after each shift
  • Greeting every guest with warmth, professionalism, and a sincere welcome
  • Presenting menu specials, promotions, and thoughtful recommendations with confidence and product knowledge
  • Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the Toast point-of-sale system
  • Coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and beautifully delivered
  • Serving food and beverages with appropriate condiments, attention to detail, and refined service standards
  • Checking back often, refreshing beverages, anticipating requests, and offering dessert, coffee, and after-dinner selections
  • Presenting checks promptly, processing payments accurately, and warmly inviting guests to return
  • Following all State of Arizona, federal, and resort liquor regulations
  • Supporting restaurant leadership and fellow team members in delivering an exceptional experience from first greeting to final farewell
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card
  • Current Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification
  • At least two years of high-volume fine-dining experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, alcoholic beverage service, table settings, serviceware, and menu items
  • The ability to learn, remember, describe, and enthusiastically promote a variety of menu offerings
  • Comfort transporting large trays of beverages through a busy dining room or lounge
  • Experience with beverage equipment and point-of-sale systems, including Toast
  • Clear verbal and written English communication skills preferred
