Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Restaurant Server to describe the selection of food & beverage items to guests, communicate orders to the kitchen, and ensure timely service.

The role emphasizes upselling, guest satisfaction, and maintaining an attentive section, with strong knowledge of food & beverage and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests.

• Coordinate food timings and check kitchen orders against guest orders.
• Upsell and process payments properly; complete side work and maintain the assigned section with urgency.

The Restaurant Server

describes the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests. Offer interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicates guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinates food timings; checks completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order. Anticipates guest needs to ascertain satisfaction and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Upsell, process payment properly, complete side work, maintain assigned section with urgency.

The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility, and prior food and beverage knowledge required.
