Job Summary

BlueGate Boat and RV Storage, a pioneer in the Marina and boat and RV storage industry, is excited to announce an opening for a dynamic and experienced Server to join our expanding team. Shady Cove Marina and Resort Restaurant seeks a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Server to join our team. Located on the scenic shores of Castalian Springs, TN, our restaurant offers a relaxed dining atmosphere and a passion for great food and service. As a Server, you will ensure our guests have an exceptional dining experience through attentive, courteous, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcome guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
2. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
3. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
4. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring orders are correct and meet quality standards.
5. Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
6. Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, service stations, and dining areas.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
9. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
10. Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as setting up tables or helping with special events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
• Must be at least 19 years old (if serving alcohol, per Tennessee state law).
