Job summary

Jobtailor is looking for a motivated sales professional to identify and research restaurant openings, adding valuable leads to the existing pipeline in the Chicago area. You will use Salesforce.com and other CRM tools to prospect within defined geographic territories and support Sales Account Executives with targeted outreach.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, have 0–3 years in sales, and are passionate about restaurants.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years of sales or related business experience.
• A commanding desire to learn, succeed and grow.
• Strong passion for and understanding of restaurants and the hospitality industry.
• Tenacious attitude and ability to self-motivate and drive toward success.
• Organized and able to be resilient in a dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Research restaurant openings to add new leads to the existing pipeline.
• Leverage in-office CRM tools to prospect within specific geographic territories.
• Develop targeting strategies within the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities.
• Create opportunities through cold calls, email, and social outreach for Sales Account Executives.
• Collaborate with Management to build on existing strategy based on changes in the restaurant landscape.
• Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using Salesforce.com.
• Learn and use sales technologies to organize the sales pipeline, track prospect communications, and report on daily business activities.
