Job summary

The Judge Group in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Project Manager for Retail and Quick-service Restaurant Architecture focused on construction documents.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone and manage multi-site projects, coordinating drafters and assistant PMs to convert designs into permit-ready documents.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of architectural experience producing construction documents.
• Retail or restaurant architectural projects experience.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience managing multiple projects across sites.

What This Person Actually Does

This is not a design-focused architectural PM role.

The client wants someone who is heavily involved in the production of construction documents for retail and restaurant projects. Most projects already have designs completed, and this person helps convert those designs into permit-ready and construction-ready documents.

Ideal Background

• 7 to 10+ years of architectural experience
• Retail and/or restaurant project experience
• Strong construction document production experience
• Architectural firm background preferred
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Experience reviewing building codes and compliance
• Experience leading drafters, Job Captains, or Assistant PMs
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Architecture degree preferred
