About the role: We are a nationwide commercial architectural firm seeking an amazing candidate to grow with our team. The ideal candidate has Revit and retail design experience and is capable of coordinating full project delivery from CDs through permitting, RFIs, site visits, and city permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate overall project delivery
• Prepare and quality-control construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review; coordinate revisions
• Prepare and manage submittal packages to permitting agencies
• Coordinate with outside project consultants (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and client vendors
• Assist in management of client billing and monitor project profitability
• Manage daily activities for Project Associates and Interns
• Oversee project construction administration, client updates, and coordination with the project team
• Attend site surveys and prepare survey reports; attend municipal planning and zoning meetings
• Schedule staff, project deadlines, and communicate with clients
• Prepare/review response letters addressing comments from outside drawing reviews
• Ensure adherence to design standards and maintain a collaborative work environment
• Mentor and train project team members
• Ensure compliance with ADA and related code analyses as needed

What You Need To Apply

• Professional Retail or Restaurant experience
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Architectural licensure preferred
• LEED accreditation preferable
• Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
