Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide team members.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the restaurant general manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and shifts.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and equipment to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
• Supervise and train crew members and shift managers, providing guidance and coaching.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels to meet customer service needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and collaborate on disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Monitor service quality and uphold brand standards and customer service expectations.
• Assist in managing restaurant finances, including sales, expenses, and cost control.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports like sales, inventory, and labor costs.
