Job summary

Nemacolin is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead dining experiences, coach the team, and uphold hospitality standards across the resort's restaurants and lounges. You will partner with culinary and restaurant leadership to develop associates, elevate service, and ensure an environment where guests feel welcomed and valued.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in hospitality management required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant, food and beverage outlet, or hospitality environment.
• Experience in Forbes Four-Star, Forbes Five-Star, or similarly service-focused dining environment preferred.
• Demonstrated success in guest service, associate development, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and the relationship between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and interpret operational and financial information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and periods of increased business demand.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable food and beverage certifications as required by the operation.

• Promote communication and alignment between front-of-house and culinary teams.
• Oversee daily restaurant activities and guest dining operations.

• Follow up on guest concerns with timely service recovery.
• Support training requirements and certifications within the department.
• Coordinate scheduling and operational planning with leadership.
