Job summary

Nemacolin seeks a Director of Banquets to lead all banquet operations, ensuring flawless service and memorable guest experiences. You will coach leaders, align with culinary and resort teams, and drive financial performance while maintaining Forbes/AAA standards.

Ideal candidates bring luxurious hospitality experience, a track record of developing high-performing teams, and a flexible schedule to support major events across the resort.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in hospitality or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of management experience in food and beverage, restaurant, outlet, or banquet operations
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred, including Forbes Four-Star or Five-Star environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be at least 18 and fluent in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, bending, lifting 5–30 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day banquet operations, maintaining a visible presence and ensuring service meets standards
• Develop banquet leaders and associates, fostering engagement and retention
• Oversee staffing and payroll, and ensure accurate scheduling
• Monitor financial performance and contribute to budgeting and goals
