Job summary

KFC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Columbia, TN to support the Restaurant General Manager and lead a high-performing team. You will train, coach and recognize staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences, even when the RGM is absent.

The role emphasizes brand standards, equity, inclusion and belonging while driving profitable operations. You will model the KFC Connect Success Routine, manage daily operations, and partner with the RGM on performance feedback, hiring and safety

Qualifications

2+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
Assist with P&L management by following cash control and inventory procedures.
Ensure employees receive proper training and resources.
Champion KFC culture and values, promoting equity and belonging.

Responsibilities

Model the KFC Connect Success Routine to maximize customer satisfaction.
Oversee team responsibilities and maintain food safety standards in the RGM's absence.
Provide ongoing feedback and address employee relations issues; escalate as needed.
Assist in sourcing, interviewing and hiring Team Members with a focus on inclusion.
Support Profit & Loss management including cash control, inventory, and labor management.
Review financial reports to optimize performance and efficiency.
Ensure health and safety standards across the restaurant.
