Job summary

Primanti Bros. is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards and health & safety guidelines while achieving financial performance.

You will lead a team, manage scheduling, training, and guest service, with a focus on mentoring Players and maintaining a positive work culture. Salary is from $59,000 to $68,000 USD per year, with benefits and growth opportunities as part of a dynamic Pittsburgh-origin brand.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Fans and Players.
• Stands/walks 100% of the shift.
• Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently.
• Lifts and carries up to 50lbs, up to 20 times per shift.
• Works frequently in damp, hot work environment and with an open flame.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admin duties including ordering, receiving, inventory, scheduling, and vendor invoices.
• Sources, interviews, and hires candidates, trains Players in their positions, delegates, provides direction, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines Players as needed.
• Oversees all daily financial responsibilities (cash handling, daily deposits, authorizes comps and voids, etc.).
• Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Assists in marketing strategy and promotional campaigns to increase business.
