Job summary

Logan’s Roadhouse in Pooler, GA seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and manage P&L for a single location. You will hire, train, and develop management and hourly team members while ensuring safety, sanitation, and high-quality guest service.

You will lead shift meetings, monitor cost of sales and labor, handle guest concerns, and maintain compliance with SERV Safe, HACCP, OSHA, and PCI standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years restaurant management experience.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Calm, tactful demeanor under pressure.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality by conducting 100% table visits.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques and research to attract new guests.
• Build positive relationships with the community.
• Assist staffing to maintain proper levels; review applications and train.
• Plan and lead shift meetings; solicit feedback.
• Provide performance feedback and development goals to hourly staff.
• Submit and document guest and team member injuries/incidents.
• Communicate employee relations issues to HR.
• Manage shifts to meet sales and profit goals, including labor and cost of sales.
• Complete administrative manager functions and transactions.
• Ensure SERV Safe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards; PCI compliance.
• Conduct daily time punch audits and corrections.
• Assist with rollouts of new programs, policies, and procedures.
• Unload vendor trucks; ensure inventory is received and rotated.
• Monitor cost of sales vs targets and ensure food quality standards.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and deposits; log deposits.
• Coordinate facilities maintenance with Director of Operations.
• Maintain vendor relationships for timely deliveries.
• Understand budget and analyze sales data to meet revenue goals.
