Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a seasoned restaurant general manager in Amarillo to lead daily operations, control costs, and maintain high service standards.

You will supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage scheduling, invoices, and payroll tasks, and partner with the GM to drive guest satisfaction and repeat visits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years senior level management in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Extensive front-of-house knowledge and financial acumen.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Stable and progressive work history with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Assist the General Manager with financial (invoices, reporting) and payroll-related duties, completed accurately and on time per policies.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas; investigate and respond to complaints and take action to turn guests into return customers.
• Manage shifts including scheduling and planning while maintaining high quality of food and service.
• Provide direction to employees and conduct performance reviews, offering ongoing feedback and setting expectations.
