Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive daily restaurant operations, coach staff, and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You ll cover GM absence, manage P&L routines, recruit and train Team Members, and foster a culture of equity and belonging. This role emphasizes ownership, performance feedback, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management including cash control, inventory, and labor.
• Ensure employees receive proper training and resources.
• Promote equity, inclusion, and belonging in the restaurant.
• Lead recognition, collaboration, and motivation.
• Recruit exceptional talent and support GM in hiring.
• Strong communication for appraisals, discipline, and coaching.
• Adhere to corporate policies and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Model the MIC Success Routine to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Shift Excellence and food safety standards; act in GM's absence.
• Provide ongoing feedback and resolve employee relations issues promptly.
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members; foster inclusion.
• Support with Profit & Loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take actions to optimize performance.
• Support GM in facility maintenance and health and safety standards.
