Job summary

Shakey’s USA INC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily shift operations and supervise a team of 20–30 employees. You will ensure fast, friendly, and clean restaurant performance while managing inventory, orders, and cost controls.

You will also train staff, assist in hiring, schedules, and adherence to safety and company policies, reporting to the General Manager. The role requires strong leadership and operation optimization skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of related experience or training preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and cost controls to meet store targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day restaurant and shift operations.
• Train and coach staff to uphold Shakey’s standards: Fast, Friendly, Clean.
• Assist in hiring, staffing, and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Monitor operations and implement optimization opportunities.
• Take inventories and place orders for supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, safety, and policy procedures.
• Maintain sanitary food handling and storage practices.
• Assist in local marketing and promotional activities.
