Job summary

Shakeys USA INC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee day-to-day shift operations, supervise team members, and assist in inventory, ordering, and cost controls. The AGM reports to the General Manager and drives our standards of fast, friendly, clean service across shifts.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with cash handling and safety policies to deliver consistent guest satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Jacmar Food Service order processing system.

Responsibilities

• Monitors day-to-day restaurant and shift operations.
• Trains and coaches staff to uphold standards of fast, friendly, clean service.
• Manages inventories and places orders to restock food and supplies.
• Creates and posts store manager and team member work schedules.
• Maintains cash handling, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Performs other duties to support restaurant operations as needed.
