Job summary

Papa John's in Georgia seeks a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations who can oversee all restaurant functions, drive profitability, and uphold brand standards. You will lead a self-sufficient team, make quality decisions, and ensure proper planning, forecasting, and systems are in place.

This role requires strong leadership, the ability to execute company policies, procedures, programs, and safety standards, and to coach staff toward excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of successful restaurant management or supervision experience.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification.
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills.
• Bilingual in certain markets.
• Must have a driver’s license valid under state laws and insurance.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week) including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards; address deficiencies with direct reports.
• Respond professionally to customer concerns and solicit feedback to improve operations.
• Oversee training and execution of quality standards; ensure uniform and appearance standards.
• Oversee recruiting and staffing; ensure compliance with policies.
• Set performance expectations and conduct timely reviews with direct reports.
• Document performance issues and take disciplinary action up to termination.
• Coach and develop staff; implement recognition programs to retain high performers.
• Manage sales goals against budget and prior year; address trends in tickets and orders.
• Seek additional sales through local marketing and positive community presence.
• Manage costs and profitability; monitor inventory and use focus system to stay within budget.
