Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee in North Charleston, South Carolina, to prepare the candidate for the Restaurant Manager role. After a designated training period, the trainee may manage day-to-day operations of a designated Company operated Restaurant for up to 90 days, reporting to the Restaurant District Manager.

This position emphasizes guest service, team leadership, and adherence to Brand, Company, and health department regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred.
• Open availability required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner; coaches and corrects team members.
• Recruit, interview, selects, hires, and completes onboarding for all positions.
• Maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties.
• Directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations.
• Monitors and ensures accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory control records.
• Guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following laws and safety codes.
