Job summary

Sandbar Amelia in Florida is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including hiring, training, guest satisfaction and maintaining food quality. You will lead staff, schedule, monitor labor costs, ensure safety and cleanliness, manage inventory and finances, and partner with the community on marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory in full-service restaurant.
• Food Safety Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and development for all Team Members.
• Ensure store staffing levels meet needs based on seasonality and business needs.
• Review applications, conduct interviews and onboard new Team Members.
• Prepare Team Members’ schedules within established labor standards.
• Foster a healthy and collaborative team environment.
• Lead the daily operations to meet established performance and profitability goals.
