Ballyhoo Hospitality, in Juno Beach, FL, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join the opening team. The role partners with the General Manager to drive operations, staffing, and service excellence in a hospitality-focused environment.

The position emphasizes recruitment, training, and implementing marketing initiatives while upholding culinary and service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast‑paced, guest‑centric setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years management experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Working knowledge of restaurant management and operations.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Genuine interest in creating exceptional guest experiences through hospitality.
• Solutions‑oriented with ability to support restaurant goals.
• Prior experience with Toast, Resy or Hotschedules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage guest service operations.
• Spearhead and promote restaurant programs for exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain and ensure the highest hospitality standards.
• Execute store opening and closing procedures as scheduled.
• Collaborate with leadership to equip the team with knowledge and resources.
• Act as a strategic extension of the General Manager.
• Prepare daily pre-shift meetings and develop floor plans.
• Lead recruitment and training of all FOH staff.
• Organize and oversee staff schedules.
• Complete nightly financial and incident reports.
• Conduct timely, constructive performance evaluations.
• Handle disciplinary actions per restaurant policy.
• Coach and develop staff in hospitality and service.
• Foster an environment that supports retention.
• Absorb hourly roles when needed to support guest experience.
• Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance needs.
