Job summary

Burger King | Curtis Hospitality Group in Taylors, SC, Store #17020, is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Restaurant General Manager to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

You will lead teams across shifts, coach staff, monitor labor and costs, ensure food safety and brand standards, and help steer the restaurant when the RGM is away, with clear pathways to RGM and broader leadership roles.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible restaurant schedule.
• Ability to coach and hold others accountable.
• Commitment to guest service, operational excellence, and team development.
• 2–4 years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Experience with restaurant P&L, labor, food cost, or other financial metrics.
• Experience hiring, training, and developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and lead across shifts.
• Drive guest satisfaction through speed, accuracy, friendliness, food quality, and cleanliness.
• Support sales growth and profitability by monitoring key metrics.
• Help manage labor, scheduling, cost controls, and inventory.
• Hire, train, coach, recognize, and develop team members and shift leaders.
• Maintain food safety and brand standards.
• Review performance and take action when results are off track.
• Address guest concerns and team issues professionally.
• Partner with the RGM on staffing and improvement priorities.
• Maintain strong communication with team, leadership, vendors, and other partners.
