CAVA Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Austin, TX to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold our standards of quality and service, and mentor Team Members. You will partner with the General Manager on action plans, staffing, and financial results to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role in restaurants or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and coach Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing; address Team Member issues.
• Maintain guest experience by upholding high service standards.
• Contribute to strategies to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and record-keeping.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training.
• Handle administrative tasks and operational records.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
