Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in Texas. You will lead operations, manage schedules, forecast labor, oversee inventory, and coach Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service, and adherence to food safety standards, with competitive pay of $20.25 per hour. Flexibility and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory/management role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and problem-solving.
• Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Lead, supervise, and train Team Members with feedback and coaching.
• Support financial reporting, forecasts, and budgeting efforts.
• Address Team Member issues and maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold guest experience and high service standards, resolving concerns promptly.
• Collaborate on action plans and performance metrics with leadership.
