Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead staff, manage operations, and execute strategies that boost sales and customer satisfaction. You will partner with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, set schedules, and maintain high service standards.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with annual sales volume >$1M.
• 1+ years in budgeting and P&L analysis.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. DOT screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility with compliant food safety practices.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Assist Restaurant Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Prepare and package customer orders promptly to maximize satisfaction.
• Understand financial reporting and influence changes to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager on talent acquisition.
