Job summary

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Inc is seeking an hourly Assistant General Manager to oversee restaurant operations in Dallas. You will drive profitability, coach the team, and ensure adherence to brand standards while delivering exceptional guest service.

You will manage labor, inventory, and COGS, support marketing initiatives, and lead the team to achieve year-over-year sales growth, with a focus on community engagement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage store sales, profitability, and overall performance.
• Use reporting and business data to coach the team, maintain standards, and improve results.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and brand standards.
• With GM approval, hire, train, lead, and develop Pit Crew, Pit Master, and Pit Boss.
• Deliver excellent guest service through operational excellence.
• Drive year-over-year sales growth and develop catering opportunities.
• Manage labor, COGS, and inventory on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the team while promoting a culture of excellence.
• Conduct shift meetings and provide direction and accountability.
