Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the profitable operation of the restaurant by upholding the company mission, vision, values, and culture. You will lead shifts, manage staff, ensure safety, sanitation and guest satisfaction, and partner with the General Manager to drive sales and profits.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of supervisory experience in hospitality; degree preferred; Serve Safe certification preferred; willingness to work 50+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of managerial or supervisory experience in a restaurant.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance required.
• Hospitality or business/restaurant management degree preferred; Serve Safe certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase guest counts and sales through guest loyalty and staff development.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, safety, sanitation and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, supervise and schedule ~20–50 employees per shift.
• Ensure policies and procedures are understood and followed by staff.
