Job summary

Border Foods LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Manager to reinforce core values and lead the restaurant operations, ensuring safe, friendly service and quality food. You will build and coach a strong team, manage daily shifts, and uphold brand standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This non-exempt management role requires at least one year in restaurant or retail, solid P&L and staffing experience, ServeSafe certification, and willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and ensure great food and friendly service.
• Lead and develop Team Members, schedule effectively, and monitor performance.
• Manage P&L and make financial adjustments to drive profit.
• Uphold health, safety, and food safety standards; ensure policy compliance.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff; provide coaching.
