Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in San Diego to lead store operations in partnership with the General Manager and Area Leader. The AGM will help manage schedules, training, inventory, and guest service to uphold our standards of quality and hospitality.

You'll develop hourly Team Members, analyze performance metrics, and support with financial reporting while fostering a positive, inclusive culture. This role requires flexibility, strong leadership, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and budgeting basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure adherence to standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and coach Team Members with performance feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues while maintaining a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience and address customer concerns promptly.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and analyzing performance metrics.
