Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Canton, IL is seeking a dedicated shift supervisor to run the restaurant when the General Manager is not on duty. You will lead a small team to ensure fast, accurate sandwiches and world-class customer service while keeping a clean, organized shift.

You will supervise deliveries and drivers, manage cash drawers, and complete opening/closing procedures as well as daily paperwork. The role demands strong math skills and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong math skills including add/subtract, fractions, percentages.
• Proficient with PC software (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of 3–15 employees and provide on-the-job training.
• Manage ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of supplies to minimize waste and theft.
• Oversee preparation, sales and service of food.
• Forecast item needs and consumption per shift.
• Ensure 100% cash drawer accountability and daily paperwork.
• Open and close procedures and daily maintenance tasks.
